I feel horrible for how much I'm forgetting the things that I should be doing/trying with Corgan at his age. With Annabelle, I was always waiting for the next milestone and trying stuff with her as soon as I thought she could handle it based on what I was reading, etc. But it hasn't been the same with Corgan. I keep forgetting to try things with him until I read or hear about things that
Kelly is doing with Kelson or
Angelle is doing with Erin. For example, it hadn't even entered my mind to give Corgan anything besides babyfood and cereal until I read that Erin is eating Cheerios the other day! Also, I am with Corgan everyday and I hadn't been trying to let him sit up on his own because I hadn't even thought about it until Keith and Nicole each mentioned him being close to sitting up while they were watching him. I think part of this "neglect" (for lack of a better word) is because I haven't been keeping up with reading my "Week by Week" book that I so religiously read each week during Belle's first year. I blame that on A. Having 2 kids which means not much free time and B. When I do read, it's usually in bed at night and I can't do that now since Corgan is still in our room and the light might wake him up.
Anyway, this week I've discovered that Corgan loves puffs (and Annabelle loves feeding them to him) AND he can sit up for up to 30 seconds on his own! He usually falls over after about 5 seconds, but a few times he has stayed up for long periods. Yea Corgan! He REALLY hates to recline now.
See pictures of Corgan doing big boy things such as sitting up and eating puffs on our photo gallery.

How is Corgan allowed to already have puffs and cheerios? He only has 1/2 a tooth? Don't you want them to have more teeth for that type of food?
Puffs and Cheerios dissolve in your mouth. It's to get them used to moving food around in their mouth and working it to swallow. That's what they will have to do with table food.
Oh wait, Mike is signed in. That last comment was Angelle. On your last entry too...
Haha.. I was thinking to myself, "Wow, check out Mr. Daddy Gallers and his infinite baby wisdom." :)
