We're Home!

Note: I started writing this last night, but then before I could finish, life happened and now it's the next morning. To avoid editing, we'll pretend like it was all written and posted last night.

We got to come home today, as planned. We got home a little later than we thought we would, but it wasn't for any medical reason... I happened to logon when the fantasy football league that Keith and I are in started the draft, so we stuck around the hospital long enough to finish the draft. :) By the time that the draft ended, I had everything all packed up, including the many wonderful gifts that we got while at the hospital. We got the BEST homemade cookies from the Konickis (Nikki's famous cake cookies... MMMMM!) and Erica (the best oatmeal raisin cookies that I've had since my grandma's cookies), bouquets of beautiful flowers from Auntie Fancy, the Ettingers, and the Elys, and Corgan's first-ever "Yo Gabba Gabba!" shirt made by Nikki. :D

Even though he weighed over a pound more than Belle did at birth, Corgan's going home outfit was still a bit big on him just like Belle's was. The hat was HUGE (it's actually a size 3-6 months) and looked more like a fisherman's hat than a golf hat. The old-man high waist was funny-looking too. But his shoes actually fit him, and he still looked freakin' adorable and even opened his eyes for a few pictures.

The ride home was nice and uneventful. Corgan slept the whole time, and since we've done this before, the drive home wasn't nearly as long and drawn out as it was the first time. :)

When we got home, Belle and Olivia came out to greet us with a poster that they'd made with the markers, crayons, and stickers that Belle got as presents over the past couple of weeks! It was so cute, especially since Belle was so proud of the poster since helped with the coloring.

More pictures and an update on how life at home is going will be coming soon...

Thanks for the update! I love the pic of Corgan in his going home outift. He's so adorable.

It's funny to see a different baby in Belle's carseat. I can't believe you have a son! It all happened so fast. :)

Congrats yet again. Can't wait til this cough is gone and I can come over and hold him and let Belle have some play time with Halle.

Keri, you look awesome. You so don't look like you just had a baby! How do you do that?!!

Great job on the poster, Olivia, Belle and Keith! :)
