I saw these online somewhere (I can't remember where now), and thought they'd be fun to make with Annabelle. We like to make treats for her to take to school to share with her class, so these were perfect for the 4th of July. The "recipe" for them was a little more complicated than what I did. The recipe called for melting butter (or something like that), and dipping the marshmallows in that. I figured that just getting the marshmallows a little wet would work, and I was right. So... all we did was put 2 large marshmallows on a stick (Papa's job), roll the marshmallows in a little water (Mommy's job), then sprinkle some red, white, and blue sprinkles on the marshmallows (Belle's job). They were very easy, and Annabelle was so proud of the finished product! She got to try one after she finished making them, and definitely approved!
We took them in to school this morning for Annabelle to present for Show & Tell (we practiced her "speech" of the steps for how to make them last night... it was very cute), and she even made enough to share with Corgan's class too.
