I Get By (with a little help from my friends)

With the past week (or two) that I've had, I've felt really lucky to have friends around to help me out! Between being pseudo-crippled from my injured back since last Sunday (when some kind of heavy lifting/pushing in the yard apparently didn't agree with my lower back), having a couple of sick kids and fighting an illness myself, missing Keith's help while he has been out of town for work, and taking on owner-builder responsibilities, it's been rough to say the least. Thankfully I've had help in the form of babysitting ("Cole" and Erica), taxi services (Nikki), grocery delivery (Carla and Keith), childcare relief (Jason and Keith), cleaning (Nicole and Keith), and I'm sure there's more that has escaped me at the moment! I've had a few moments of being completely overwhelmed, but fortunately, my friends and family seem to keep bringing me back with their help and support. Thank you!

P.S. I can't wait for my mom to get here to help out for a week or so next month! There just isn't any babysitter that can beat a Grammy!
