She said that the doctor said that she could still go home 1cm dilated and gradually dilate over the next few weeks just like she did with Halle, but he's also preparing her just in case Elena comes much sooner rather than later. Keep Nikki & Elena in your thoughts and prayers, and I'll report any updates as I get them.
Nikki & Baby Elena
Nikki called me earlier to say that she was on her way to the hospital because, as she suspected, she was in preterm labor being 1cm dilated already (at 33 weeks + 2 days). They are monitoring her and she is definitely having contractions and they are 1-2 minutes apart. They have given her steroids to help Elena's lungs to develop and want to keep her in for at least 48 hours so that they can fully take effect. They've also given Nikki magnesium that is supposed to slow the contractions. Right now she's on strict "do not move" bedrest orders, and they'll know more as they see how the magnesium effects her.

Ditto what Kathy said above!! Please post anything more as you find out (unless Nikki does on her blog...)....
I got a little update from Jason a bit ago. He said Nik was still having contractions, but they've slowed down. He thinks she'll be in the hospital for a few days.
The medicine is making her sleepy, and generally not feel too well.
