A Blast from the Past

Look what I got in the mail the other day...

One of the things that Corgan likes about being in Belle's crib is that she has a crib activity center to play with. Her's is too girly to put in his bed (plus I think Belle would be a little upset), so I was on the lookout for one for Corgan's crib. The new ones seem to be a little too baby-ish and won't really go with Corgan's room (when he finally gets one), and for about the same price, I found this vintage one just like I had (and my little sister had and my little brother had...) and I just had to have it. :) I cleaned it up really good, and it works just like new and both the kids are already having a blast with it! Annabelle has even asked to get into Corgan's crib so that she can play with it. :)

Isn't it crazy how when there's something from our childhood that brings back good memories, we want our kids to have those things (or memories) too?

AHHH, I'm all vaklepmt'd ;) How cute to see my grandbabies playing with the same wonderful activity center that kept my kids so busy for so many happy times! I can hear the 'bo'ing' in my mind right now :) See you soon!!!

How cute! Glad that you found something from OUR past to share with the kids. Now where is the soft squeaky yellow shirt wearing monkey that we loved that carried the banana ;) hehe!

I think I had one, too :) Fisher Price is actually re-releasing some vintage stuff - I saw the tv that plays row your boat with the scrolling pictures in Target yesterday :)
