Bronchio-what?

The kids have had horrible coughs for the last few days, so yesterday we decided that they should visit the doctor to make sure they didn't have pneumonia or something. Well... they do have something.. bronchiolitis or RSV. Because Corgan is so young, he was prescribed a nebulizer and some meds to give him breathing treatments. Neither of them had a fever, so it's not a severe case, but both had wheezing. He wasn't concerned about Annabelle and just recommended baby vics vaporub for her (he said that the other doctor in his practice swears by rubbing it on the feet and putting socks on over it while they sleep so we're trying that in addition to the chest and back). Both kids are still totally snotty and coughing like old men, but they don't seem to be getting any worse. Hopefully they'll get better soon so that they (and I) can get some good sleep.

Brody had RSV at 3 months, and they told me he would be prone to croup and other respiratory stuff for the next few years...unfortunately they were right! Hopefully, Corgan doesn't have such a bad case :( We now own a nebulizer! I hope they get better soon!

I hope your kiddies get better soon. It is so awful to feel so helpless when they are sick.
