Jumping In

This morning was my 37 week doctor's appointment. I was hoping that I'd go in and he'd tell me that I was 3-4 cm and that he'd deliver Corgan as soon as I wanted to, but that didn't happen. I'm now at 2cm, and he hasn't moved the August 30th date up at all. He said that the only way that it'll move up is if I come in at 4-5 cm contracting 5 minutes apart or with my water broken. :( So, I guess we're now playing the waiting game. *sigh*

On a positive note, this wait means that now that I'm officially off of bedrest I can get lots of last minute Belle time in. This afternoon, Olivia and I took Belle to the swimming pool. When I first mentioned "Swimming" to Annabelle, she immediately thought of swimming lessons and didn't want to go. But once we got to the pool and she started playing in the water, she had lots of fun. In fact, she had so much fun that she was swimming from me to Olivia and back. She kept asking for more. The pool had a waterfall into the pool, and she had lots of fun sitting under the waterfall and telling Olivia to keep doing tricks under water from her waterfall post. A couple of times she got overly excited about Olivia's tricks, and fell into the water from the side, but she just popped right back up and even started to go into her float a couple of times. She eventually thought that this was fun, so I had her jump into the pool to me, and she LOVED it! She's definitely not afraid of the water at all anymore! I was SO excited to see this! You can see the grainy video on YouTube. After jumping in the first time, you can see her signing for "more" and she makes the CUTEST face in anticipation of the count to three for the second jump. Unfortunately, the quality on youtube isn't clear enough to see the adorable face that she makes, but I hope to have the video up on Belle's Video website soon (I just upgraded to iLife08 and have some issues with the iWeb upgrade so I'm going to have to play with it a bit to get it all to an updateable state again.).

Speaking of YouTube... the swimming lesson video of Annabelle was apparently deemed "objectionable content" and was taken down by youtube. I can't even express how rediculous I think it is that I can watch hundreds of youtube videos of toddlers cussing out their parents or beating up siblings, yet a swimming lesson is "objectionable"! But I digress...

The Albert family is doing very well! My mom told me tonight that they announced Kelson's birth on the local evening news in Huntsville (where they're from) and that they are actually planning to come interview the family at the hospital tomorrow! Hopefully it'll be available online so I can see it too. :) If it is, of course I'll be posting a link. Also, The Albert Family has a website (Albertsland) where more pictures of Kelson are posted. :)

Sorry... correction... the swimming lesson was "inappropriate", not "objectionable". :S
