Feeling Pretty Good

I still haven't taken any pain medication since before I went to bed last night which means it's been nearly 24 hours and I'm still doing good. I've been up and around a lot today, and the main source of sorenss that I have is still my neck, shoulders, and back (except for some brief relief that I got when Nicole came by and granted my massage wish). And until a little incident this evening, I have even been able to sneeze, laugh, and lightly cough without feeling like I'm going to open up and spill out my intestines.

Tonight I was laying on the couch and a big sneeze came on. I could tell that it was going to hurt, so I tried to avoid it (or at least lessen the severity), but no luck. Then not long after that, Keith came in and I told him about my sneeze and said something like "I really hurt myself with that sneeze." and Keith replied "How do you know?" The fact that he was asking how I would know if I was hurting cracked me up and I laughed holding my stomach in pain for what seemed like forever. Then not long after that, Annabelle had discovered a drawer in the end table and was investigating it when the phone rang. We were all turned around looking in the direction of the phone (which was in the opposite direction from Annabelle), then when we turned back around Annabelle had found and put glasses on as shown in the picture below! Again, I was left painfully cracking up, but it was worth it. :)

Hopefully, healing will continue as it has been, and I'll be back to my old self in no time!
