It ends up that Belle didn't have a cold, she has molars coming in! She seemed to be feeling much better this morning, but still a little up to her usual perky self. Jill suggested maybe she was teething, so I put my finger in her mouth and 2 of her molars have broken through! She has 8 teeth right now (and has had only 8 teeth for like 5 months now), and apparently she has skipped the single teeth between those 8 and the molars and moved right on to molars. It feels like another one of them will be breaking through soon too. I didn't even think about teething when Belle was all runny-nosed and stuff because I've thought that she was teething so many times before and she wasn't, but apparently... she is now! Aside from not eating much today, she seems to feel much better though. She did actually wake up screaming at 5:30 this morning (she usually doesn't get up any earlier than 7:30), so I spent some time trying to relax her to sleep in my bed and rocking her to sleep in her own room, but neither worked (not permanently anyway) so I had to let her cry it out in her crib after about 1.5 hours of trying. During the sleepless time, I did discover something that I didn't know about Belle... when she is drinking milk out of her sippy cup and laying down sometimes she's at weird angles and can't get milk out of it so before she tries another angle, she shakes her cup to see if there is actually anything in it. How smart is that?
I had my 24 week appointment today. It was pretty uneventful which is a good thing. The doctor did set a delivery date of August 30th for me though. He filled out the form to reserve a spot at the hospital and everything. Of course, if I go into labor earlier, it will happen before then, but that's my delivery date as of now! Oh, my stomach also measured at 26cm, which is a little big, but he said that he isn't too concerned because everything was right on track size-wise during the ultrasound just 4 weeks ago. Of course, he'll measure again in 4 weeks so we'll see. Also, I have the diabetes blood work before then too so we'll have that information. Other than that, strong heartbeat (160 bpm) so we're doing good and Corgan seems nice and stong.
Picutres of yesterday at the park and of our fun-filled time at the beach today are up on our gallery.
Update: the name of the group of previous heart patients is called "Mended Hearts".

I'm glad to hear everything went well for your father. And yay for Corgan! Can you believe you are more than half way through this pregnancy? Time flies!
I am so happy to hear everything went well with your dad.
Speaking to teeth, the canines actually come in last. Leah's molars came in unexpectedly too, after MONTHS of no teeth. Her canines just came in a few months ago.
Happy 24 weeks! I am now in my 3rd trimester as of today. Like Liz said, time DOES fly!!! I am NOT ready!
I'm so happy that everything worked out with your dad. That support group sounds like such a good idea. I'm sure that must have put his mind at ease.
How exciting that you have a possible birthdate for little Corgan or possibly...not so little Corgan.
Hey Keri. Great to hear that your dad is doing well.
