Annabelle's Bedding Destiny

I had pretty much settled on the idea that I was going to stick with the same theme and colors as I currently have in Annabelle's room, but after today... I'm DEFINITELY sticking with it! Tonight I was walkin' down the aisles of TJ Maxx looking for a throw pillow to go on the rocking chair once it moves to Corgan's room, and there it was... the perfect Annabelle quilt! I saw this quilt and thought "I LOVE that pattern", then half a second later I said (I think it was even out loud), "THAT'S ANNABELLE'S BEDDING!"

The bedding that I got for Annabelle's crib was one of those things where you place the order for it, they order the fabric needed and make it to your specifications, then ship it to you. When I went to buy it, the main fabric had been discontinued, and blah, blah, blah... I finally found a pre-made sample set (read the whole story here). Anyway, since the fabric is not made by the people who made the crib bedding, apparently other retailers use them too! And today I found a quilt that uses the exact same fabric pattern! They only had it in Full/Queen size, but that should work because once Annabelle moves into a "big girl" bed, it'll probably be our current bed which is a queen and we'll upgrade to a king. They had like 5 of the quilts too, and I actually thought about buying more than 1 for a second... but I refrained. :) However, after putting my (well, Annabelle's) quilt into the cart, I kept walking down the aisles and 2 aisles later... I was shocked again! This time I found a dog bed that uses Annabelle's same fabric! Since there is going to be a loft in Annabelle's room, I thought the dog bed would make a perfect floor pillow for the loft. I only bought one of those too, but think I may go back and buy another one.

I know this sounds rediculous, but I'm still so in shock over finding this bedding! Obviously, this pattern is Annabelle's bedding destiny, and she's meant to grow up with this theme in her room (at least for a little while).

Yeah it was meant to be. I love it when stuff happens like that.
