"Real moms" aren't embarrassed when they have to walk back into a store they've just left with a handful of items that "accidentally" ended up in their kid's stroller and left the store unnoticed. (No... that didn't happen to me last weekend.)
"Real moms" will eat something they hate (especially when it's pureed) just to show their kids how yummy it is.
"Real moms" find themselves singing songs from kids shows where they apply in their everyday lives ("Where are we going? Halle's house! Where are we going? Halle's house! Where are we going? Halle's house! Where are we going? Halle's house!").
A "Real mom" has just accepted that she will never get to finish another hot meal again (unless there is a babysitter involved).
"Real moms" have had to "prewash" poop off of an article of clothing in the toilet before putting the clothes into the washing machine.
"Real moms" are still surprised and filled with pride by every new thing her child does!

good morning Keri, good morning Kelly, good morning Kyle today!
I guess that means when we get to be 'real grammys' that everything goes double!! I now get that feeling of pride for my children and grandchildren.. You think being a Mom is great, and it is.. just wait until you see your own precious ones becoming Mom's!!
I'm a friend of Angelle's that tagged her - I do the singing thing all the time! It makes the kids happy, and is sometimes a great distraction (my 8 mo is a little diaper-change-resistant right now).
