Aunt Kelly = Fun

There's always fun when Aunt Kelly is around! :) From the time my sister, Kelly, arrived at our house for a visit last weekend, Belle couldn't get enough of her! We had fun shopping for maternity clothes and baby stuff together, Kelly learned a lot about the types of things to register for for her upcoming baby showers, and we took a girls-only road trip up to Jacksonville for Kelly's husband's cousin's wedding. :) The entire weekend was great (see pictures), but the ride home was not so much...

We had to drop Kelly off at the Jacksonville airport, then headed back to Melbourne. Belle was good for about the first hour, but we were stuck in a traffic jam just south of Jacksonville (moved about 2 miles in 30 mins) and Belle just would NOT go to sleep (even though she was tired)! I tried "On the Farm", "Milo & Otis", and some other dvds. She wasn't really crying the whole way, just REALLY vocal and kept throwing her milk down then yelling for it. I stopped about 2 hours into the trip to get out of the car for a little while and check to see if all of the commotion was due to a dirty diaper (it wasn't), and decided to pee (since I still had about 1.5 hours left), but the womens bathroom was broken so I ended up straddling a men's toilet while holding Annabelle (cradled like a baby yet squirming and laughing). The hard part was trying to get my pants pulled back up! We survived though. :) Then about 15 minutes later I noticed Annabelle in the back with her fingers down her throat and a few minutes later smelled puke, so I stopped again and she'd made herself throw up milk! I hope this isn't going to be a new "I'm bored" habit! About 10 minutes after cleaning that up, she finally fell asleep! She slept until about 10 minutes from home then started the screaming again! Any road trips in the near future will have to be done with the driving overnight!

Oh, man! What a miserable trip! I can't believe Belle made herself throw up. Glad to hear she had so much fun with Aunt Kelly though. Those pool pics look like a blast!
