Corgan's Nursery Plans

As I did with Annabelle's nursery, I've chosen to use the bedding as the "inspiration piece" for Corgan's nursery. So, as soon as I got home from finding out Baby Donald 2.0 is a Corgan, I jumped on the internet to find my inspiration. I actually found the perfect design within like 2 hours of searching (this was NOT the case with Annabelle's bedding). I spent another day or so searching, before deciding for sure that my first favorite remained my favorite (and I ran it by Keith too, of course). So now, I've already ordered the bedding (don't want another incident like I had with Belle's bedding) and it should be here Friday! It will work perfect with the rocking chair that I already have (at least that's what it looks like from the pictures), and I think I've found the crib that I'm going to get too. I've also pretty much decided on the colors and designs for the walls. I Photoshopped together a palette for the nursery of the things that I've decided on so far (see pic). Once the bedding arrives, I'm sure I'll be doing some more shopping for accessories, furniture, etc. I can't wait!

Also, I think I'm pretty set on sticking with Belle's vintage room theme for her new room. There will be MUCH more wall space in the new room, so I'll be adding some new room accessories and maybe furniture, but the feel of the room should be the same. I still love the BoHo theme, and will possibly use it for her room later on (or maybe I'll use it in another room), but Belle's room is already so perfect so why mess with a good thing? Right?

The architect is coming over tomorrow to hopefully finalize the plans so that we can get started on the details. I've been doing lots of recon shopping and magazine searching so I have an idea about the colors and materials that will be used in the new rooms, but still have lots of details to pin down. Hopefully I'll have enough information to come up with a fairly close cost estimate for the interior details though.
