Here We Go...

We leave for the airport in just a few hours! Putting Annabelle to bed tonight and knowing that I wouldn't see her until Wednesday night killed me! I didn't want to leave her room! I cried the whole time I was reading her bedtime story to her. It's probably better that we said goodbye tonight though, 'cause I think I'd have a REALLY hard time walking out the door with Annabelle crying behind me. I'm sure we'll have a great time, but I know I'll be glad to get home to Bellee too (and so will Grammy!). :)

The floor plans for the house are temporarily finalized. By that I mean that we have finalized the design of the layout, and now it goes to the structural engineer for review and the designer will be drawing up the elevation plans. He said that this next phase should be done late next week. I don't anticipate any major changes based on the elevation plans, and hopefully everything we have planned will work structurally as well. When we get back I'll post the floor plans along with a description of what's what.

Corgan's bedding arrived today! It looks even better than I thought it would. The embroidery is awesome, and I can't wait to see it in a crib... hopefully that'll happen before he's 3 months old (because we'll be waiting on that part of the house to be finished)! Oh, I had a question on my last blog about how I found my bedding. I knew that I wanted something with a modern feel to it, so I did googling for things like "modern baby bedding" and happened upon this one. I got it from PillowsAndThrows.com, and they were actually the only people who I found that actually carried that product, which is one reason that I went ahead and bought it now.

This week has been VERY productive! It's amazing what you can get done with a Grammy around. I've finally finished putting up the picture frames in the hall (I started that project over 2 years ago, and now I just have to fill all of the frames with pictures), got the Saab serviced in Orlando, got my Odyssey serviced locally, had my sonogram, had my regular doctor's appointment, met with the architect and got the plans finalized, took Belle (and Grammy) to Tumbleweeds, finished invitations for my sister's baby shower, had lunch with some friends, finished up taxes, shopped for last minute things for our trip, got some bills/paperwork done, and I even finished packing for our Babymoon this afternoon (I'm usually still packing at the last minute)!

Well, time to catch a couple of hours of sleep before getting up early to head to the airport! Au reviour, or as they say where we're heading... "Bye"! :) Haha!

I hope you had a great time on your babymoon. I can't wait to read all about it.

I'm sure it was hard for you to be away from Annabelle for so long.
