Annabelle has been walking all over the place now and gets up to walk (well... practically run sometimes) without even holding on to anything now. This afternoon she kept getting up and trying to take off before she was really even on her feet, so I said "Belle, you need to get your toes out from under your feet before you walk." She immediately sat down, and pointed to her toes! I have never gone over "toes" with her before, and really only talk about them when she curls up her toes when I'm trying to get her shoes on or when I call them "piggys" when I'm doing "This Little Piggy", so this totally surprised me. At first I thought it was a fluke, so I said "Are those your toes?" and she pointed to them again! My mom is still here visiting with us, so I told her about it when she came into the room later on and she said that when she's changing Belle's diaper she's been saying "I'm gonna tickle your toes" and tickling them. I guess just from that interaction with Grammy, Belle picked up on what her toes are! Wow!
Belle has also started "zoning out" lately... it's pretty funny. She'll be in the middle of playing or eating or something and just all of the sudden stop and stare at nothing! You pretty much have to snap her out of it with a "HELLO!!!" and waving your hand in her face. She's such her father's daughter! :)
