Done with Shopping!

Despite getting a VERY late start (last Friday!!), I managed to finish my Christmas shopping today! That wouldn't have been possible without the help of Keith and Ben watching Annabelle so that I could get some super-shopping hours in! Also, my e-Gifting website has once again proven itself to kick butt! I created the website like 4 years ago, and although I had big plans for enhancing it and haven't, it's still a pretty nifty little site. It's more than just a "wishlist"... people list their sizes, likes/dislikes (stores, styles, etc.), colors for their house, things that they collect, things that they already have, and a plain old wishlist too. It's very simple, but has been a big help for 4 Christmas' now and lots of birthdays.

While I was out shopping yesterday, I got a very exciting call that has caused me to revise my planned-gifts-to-purchase list a bit... My sister is expecting in August! I'm going to be "Aunt Keri" and Bellee will have a cousin! Annabelle doesn't know it yet, but she's very excited too! She's starting to interact with other kids more and more, so although it'll be a little while before she gets to play with Baby Albert (don't know if they've picked names yet), she'll be so excited to have someone her size to play with when the family gets together! Kelly (my sister) and Jason (her hubby, of course) have been trying to get pregnant for a while, so this news is allowing them to breathe again (and squeal a little too)!

The other night I took Belle with me when I went shopping at the mall. I put her cutie Ms. Santa outfit on her, just because it's almost Christmas and she only has 1 more week to wear it. While at the mall I walked past the Santa photos and the line wasn't too crazy-long so I jumped in line to get the obligatory "you-really-expect-me-to-smile-while-this-strange-fuzzy-guy-holds-me?" picture. Annabelle was SOOOO awesome! She smiled the entire time! They got 3 really good super-smiley pictures of her so I bought one. Did I mention that she's so cute? :)
