Today Annabelle figured out how to make it down the step from our dining room into the living room. Our living room, kitchen, and dining room are all open floorplan, but the dining room is a single step up from the kitchen or living room. Annabelle has been able to get up the step into the dining room for a while, but I have to watch her when she's getting down because until tonight, she'd fall on her face. She was just crawling along like there wasn't a step there, then boom... usually a small sideways roll onto her face. But tonight she figured out that she just has to slow down at the end of the step, put each hand down on the floor one at a time then crawl down. She's still going head first, but she isn't falling anymore!
Tonight she also shared with me. She was eating a zwiebak (sp?) toast thingy and offered it to me. Usually if she does that she's just showing it to me and she pulls it away before I can get a bite, but this time she was actually putting it into my mouth. :) She's such a sweetie. Hopefully that sharing will happen with toys as she plays with other children... but I'm not holding my breath.

Wow! Annabelle is getting so big and strong. I can't believe she is already figured out steps.
Zach is into jumping now. He wants to jump off all of the steps. I swear I'm going to get turned into DCF for all of the bruises that little boy gives himself. I love the pics. Thanks for sharing.
It sounds like you guys had a great time in Italy!
Sharing is quite an accomplishment. We are still working on that with Ian & Leah. :) Lately Leah has been trying to take everything that I give Ty. "Hey, Mom, that's exactly what I was looking for?"
What an amazing trip to Italy. Annabelle is certainly a world traveler!
