The Cars

This past week has been a big week in the car department! First of all, my Explorer reached my "birthday odometer", then I got a mommy van (Honda Odyssey), then I sold my Explorer... and on top of all that, the movie "Cars" came out last week!

"What's a "birthday odometer?" you ask? If you have been following my blog for a while, you might recall the My Birthday Milk entry. I have this strange thing that I do where I look for special "dates" everywhere, and this summer I noticed that the odometer on my car was approaching my birthday, "073176". I don't drive much so it took a while to get to my birthday, but I finally did last week... just in time! If I hadn't reached it before getting rid of my car, I was going to drive my car until I did reach it!

Then Saturday, Keith and I went in and purchased my new Odyssey! We got the EX-L in Slate Green (but it looks like blue-grey to me) with Olive interior with the Navigation system (we've named her "Donna" after the "driving machine" named Donna, which is Italian for woman, that we had in Italy) and DVD. It's pretty darn cool! We didn't trade in my Explorer because I was planning to try to sell it myself... and it's already SOLD! Yea!
