Annabelle has been on this kick where she only wants milk if it's super cold- right out of the fridge. While I can relate because I only like ice cold milk, she hasn't cared about that until very recently. It's very inconvenient too as she generally gets "new milk", drinks a few sips, puts it down, then goes back to it 30 minutes or so later when it has warmed up. Then she complains about the "old milk" and wants me to throw it out to get her "new milk". This is both wasteful and annoying (side note: I generally have been only filling her milk cups about half way lately because of this.).
Anyway, so she has been doing this "New Milk!" whine full force for the past couple of days. I have even yelled at her a few times because she'll do it right when I give her the milk. This morning I was in a hurry to get her ready for school so I asked Keith to get her milk for her. He yelled to me that her milk was spoiled so he was going to give her our fat free milk. Because I was rushing around, I still didn't put it all together until I got home from taking Annabelle to school and saw that her milk had expired on May 11th! She wasn't complaining about the milk being too warm... it was OLD MILK! YUCK!
Bad, bad Mommy!

Don't start feeling bad just yet - usually those expiration dates provide you with some error margin. So, unless the milk has been open and out of the fridge for a long time, I don't think it will have been that bad, and she was probably yelling for her normal reason ;-)
Awwww. That is kinda funny. Not so bad...
Hi! I semi-randomly ran across your blog today (I knew your husband in high school).
