Family Lunch

We had a very nice little family lunch today in downtown Melbourne at Island Pasta. In addition to having good food (and good peach tea), that restaurant will always be a special place because it is the place where we had our wedding rehearsal dinner so there are lots of good memories there.

At lunch today, Annabelle sat in a booster seat for the first time, and Corgan sat in his first restaurant highchair. Corgan had fun eating puffs all by himself too! Annabelle entertained us (and everyone else in the area) with her songs, specifically ABCs. She was so funny because she has been singing "A-B-naa-saa-aye-ta-doe" for a while now, but when Keith sang it that way, then she proceeded to switch to singing "A-B-C-D-E-F-G" and sang pretty much the whole alphabet correctly, including "next time won't you sing with me".

In the following video, Annabelle has just sung the ABCs correctly, so we decided to see if she'd do it for the camera using the same process as before (Daddy sings it incorrectly, then Annabelle sings it correctly), but it didn't quite work and apparently she was tired of singing the ABCs too. :)

Except for Keith's shirt, that was totally unplanned as Keith was actually the one who dressed Annabelle and Corgan (and you KNOW that he didn't match them on purpose... heck, I'm impressed that their individual shorts and shirts matched) and I already had in my head that I was going to wear my shirt since it's new. Once I realized that Corgan, Belle, and I were all matching (Belle's shorts had the same green in them that the rest of us were wearing), I made Keith find a shirt that matched us all too so we could be a cheesy matching family.
