There are a few new shows that I'm looking forward to starting this fall. I'll probably over-do it with trying out new shows in hopes of picking up at least a couple of new shows that I like. I DEFINITELY need something to replace Desparate Housewives (I have barely watched it for a while now, but I think I'm done with it for sure now), Brothers & Sisters is on the bubble unless it regains the strength that it started with last season, I only half-watch Boston Legal when I'm really bored as it is, and ER has bored me for a few seasons now, but I keep watching it for some reason. Thanks to Zap2It and the many commercials that I've seen, some of the new shows that I have high hopes for are Bionic Woman, Chuck, Dirty Sexy Money, and Pushing Daisies. Although I don't know if I'm happy with the idea of it, I'm sure I'll watch Private Practice (the Grey's spin-off) to see how it turns out.
Thursday night is already upsetting me... the 9 o'clock hour forces me to decide between Grey's Anatomy, CSI, and The Office. Wait... I guess I don't have to decide since I have 2 TiVos and 1 of them has 2 tuners! Nevermind. :D
I will probably add a couple of returning shows like Shark (my mom has introduced me to this one), Cold Case (which I watch already when I happen to catch it), and the like. And, of course, I'll be sticking with the old faithfuls like Earl, The Office, Scrubs, House, and Nip/Tuck (unless they've REALLY jumped the shark, as I suspect they may have).
So, aside from telling me to read a book, do you have any TV show suggestions for me? :)

Okay I just went through my DVR :) The shows I'm looking forward to the new season of are:
Earl, Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock (I've grown tired of ER, and I've been a fan from the beginning!)
Heroes (btw, the new season, they're advertising you don't need to watch the previous season .. this one is totally understandable without it)
Dexter (Sean got me into this one, I mostly watch it with one eye open or while I'm doing something else because its really bloody, but its funny, in a sick twisted way)
Grey's Anatomy (of course)
Las Vegas & Ghost Whisperer (for some reason I usually find time to watch these Friday night shows)
New shows I want to give a chance:
Pushing Daisies (Looking forward to seeing this one)
Californiacation (this one started already .. and its pretty sick, a Showtime show, but I like it so far)
Carpoolers (They have one commercial that cracked me up .. In the Air Tonight was on, and they only joined in during the drum break)
Chuck, Bionic Woman (I'll watch either of these if nothing else is one)
Shows that start Mid Season, or next summer, or maybe never again, but I like them ..
Medium (been hooked from the beginning)
Notes From the Underbelly (this show was great, very well written, hilarious, I'm sad that this isn't def. coming back)
Entourage (love it)
Flight of the Conchords (Funny show, but I'm sure alot of people dont like it)
Wow - there are SO many news shows out there I haven't even heard of. You should definitely check out Heroes, it's worth getting into!
I also LOVE Biggest Loser, which began last night. I am interested to see the show Kid Nation (I think it is on CBS). Kinda like a Survivor with kids.
Oh, yeah, Erica, I also LOVED Noted from the Underbelly. I hope it comes back.
I saw the pilot for Pushing Daisies at Comicon this year. I LOVED it! I can't wait for that show to start!!! I'm also very excited about Tin Man on the Sci Fi network... check that out too!
Bionic Woman might be cool.
And lets not forget Smallville!! The dawson's creek of the superhero world. :)
Journeyman looks good too (mondays on NBC)
Also, you should watch How I met your mother (mondays on CBS). one of the funniest comedies (after the Office) on tv in the past few years.
BTW, how did we all live before DVR?!
Heroes is awesome- I highly recommend it. I think nip/tuck jumped the shark last season, really. All I know is that this year, besides being based in LA now, Julia has a lesbian affair with Portia DeRossi. Weird.
New show I'm looking forward to: Gossip Girl. The main reason is because it's narrated by Kristen Bell of Veronica Mars, who I LOVE. And it's from the creator of The O.C., and I love a good teen soap!
