Mother Bird

So, I know it's still a little early (I'm at 32 weeks now), but I have officially started nesting! Since Corgan is going to be shackin' up with Mommy & Daddy for the first few months of his life, this week I went through all of our dressers and the closet and cleared out a whole 4 large drawers, 2 small drawers, a shelf in the closet, and a nice-sized area of hanger rod space in the closet. This may even be more space than he needs, but I'm sure we'll fill it with something! Nicole was over yesterday and we were going over some options for clearing floor space in the room too. Dispite Dr. Spock's recommendation to just put newborns in a dresser drawer, we'll be setting up the basinnet again and Corgan will sleep in there until he outgrows it, then I guess he'll be in the pack-n-play until he has a room of his own. I wish so much that instead of rearranging my own room I was setting up a nursery, but it appears that that day is still very far away! :(

That is almost exactly when I started my nesting craziness. Let me tell you though, unfortunately it did not last long enough. Even when I want to do stuff now, I am too big, tired and my back hurts too much to do it. Good luck getting as much done as possible.

It sounds like you have a good plan. Hopefully you'll have more energy to set up his nursery once the time comes.
