Joining the Boys' Club

We're having a boy! Corgan Alexander Donald is on his way! It took a while to see that he is in fact a boy, because at the beginning of the sonogram his legs were crossed, then the umbillical cord was in the way, but then he finally moved to the right position to get a perfect profile shot of "the goods" (no, that isn't shown in the picture above)! With Annabelle I had a feeling that we were having a girl, and with Baby Donald 2.0 when we FIRST found out that we were pregnant Keith and I both thought "This one is definitely a boy." But then as we warmed up to the idea of another baby, we started to feel unsure of the sex to the point that neither of us wanted to say "I think it's a...". The only hunch that I've had lately is that everytime baby kicks me, I always think of the kicker in the "he" sense ("he sure is a strong kicker") and I've slipped and said "him" or "he" a few times, but I still wasn't sure. I think I was unsure mainly because I'd convinced myself that a girl would be so much easier at this point (from the perspective of reusing Annabelle's clothes and other gender specific things, and also because I had the nursery all designed in my head). However, now that we know we've got a healthy baby boy on the way (everything measured at the right size and in the right places), we're pumped about our Corgan! Plus, I think it's such a cool name and am excited that we'll get to use it!

So... onward with planning the kids' bedrooms! As soon as I got home, I jumped online in search of the perfect boy's nursery, and I think I've already got my color scheme and a general design in mind. It's simple, modern, and a bit different. As soon as I'm positive about it, I'll reveal some of the details. :) Now I just need to decide if I want to update Annabelle's bedroom's look, or keep the same vintage and pink theme...
