Corgan Alexander Donald
If it's a boy, we're going to stick with the boy name we picked out (or maybe "came up with" is a better way to put it) for Baby #1, Corgan Alexander. We picked the name Corgan because it's the last name of one of Keith's favorite musicians, Billy Corgan of the The Smashing Pumpkins. We originally picked Alexander because it just sounded good between Corgan and Donald, but I found out later that Keith's first American ancestor was "Alexander Donald" born in 1720. So, contrary to the rumors that I've heard, no... Alexander isn't in honor of Keith's friend and our longtime roomie/tenant Alexander "Alf" Weaver (not that we don't like Alf... :)). Side note: Keith suggested the name "Shatner" the other day (after his hero William Shatner), but I quickly nixed it by pointing out that the kid's nickname would be "Shat"!
Aurora Rose Donald
If it's a girl, we've decided on Aurora Rose. This is a name that I came up with a while ago and have always liked, but it took some convincing to get Keith to like it. My maternal grandmother lived in a small town called Aurora, Missouri and I always thought Aurora would be a cool name for a girl. Keith didn't like it at first because he has a hard time saying "Aurora", but we have a few months to work on it. :) The name Rose is sprinkled throughout my family tree, although it doesn't belong to any one of my direct ancestors. Side note: I don't know if this had any influence on coming up with the name or not, but when I was young my brother and sister were obsessed with Sleeping Beauty and we watched the movie MANY times. Aurora was Sleeping Beauty's Princess name, while Briar Rose was her peasant name. I promise, the fact that we already have a "Belle" and may soon have an "Aurora" doesn't mean that we're Disney Princess obsessed. :)
So, there you have it... Baby Donald 2.0 will either be Corgan Alexander or Aurora Rose.

I love both of those names! :)
I love those names too...Aurora should be interesting for Belle to say. I'm sure she will have some cute way of saying either of them :-)
Alexander is on our top two list for boys but as a first name so we didn't steal it I promise :-)
Joe wanted Alexander Steven but I told him our child wasn't going to be an ASS.
Oh my gosh, Christina that is hilarious! No ASSes here. We are pretty set on Erin for a girl with either Audrey or Hannah for a middle name. No boys names yet. We are always stuck on boys. Next Wednesday we will either be off boy duty or on it 24-7.
I do love those names. Aurora is an awesome name (I also love Sleeping Beauty). Corgan is so unique but still sounds like a first name. When do you find out?
Haha! ASS! Alexander is such a manly little name!
I have a feeling that both Keith and Belle will be calling baby (if she's a girl) "Rory" for a while. We'll see who will learn to say "Aurora" correctly first. My money's on Bellee! :)
Erin and Leah... sounds so cute! :) Audrey was one of my girl names (apparently I like the A-names for girls), but that one is becoming too popular as a first name for my taste. I still LOVE that name though!!! Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorite actresses... I was thinking Audrey Eliza (as in "Eliza Dolittle and also my great-grandma's middle name). I still like the name though, so we'll see if maybe I get over the popularity of the name someday.
Wow Angelle... I can't believe you'll know by next Wed! I'm so jealous! I won't find out until mid-April... I think.
