I'm sure most anyone who has changed toddler diapers on a regular basis has seen things like corn come out in poop looking alot like it did when it went in. Annabelle had a MAJOR one of those diapers today! Her post-morning nap diaper was FILLED with a re-mositurized version of the dried corn that she ate a ton of last night! Seeing that made me think... is she really getting any nutritional benefit from eating the dried corn? Between the quick rate that she's constantly stuffing it into her mouth and the fact that I see so much of it in corn-form coming out of the other end, I think the only purpose it's really serving is to pacify her hunger (or boredom) for a while. Hmmmmm.
Oh well, maybe someday she'll start chewing the corn (and hopefully those nutrients actually get absorbed instead of just passing through her body) so I'll keep giving it to her. :)
