Whaddaya Know?

It amazes me how much a not-even-1-year-old kid knows! Today I was doing dishes and turned around and Annabelle had found the travel changing pad that I use, opened it, and laid down on it like she was being changed (I later discovered she had a dirty diaper too... might be too much of a stretch to think that she was trying to tell me she needs to be changed though). Over the past few of weeks, I've noticed her trying to do the correct things with items she's seen me use. When she finds a hair brush, she brushes her hair (been doing that for a while though). She found an emory board, and held it to her toe nails. She sets her socks and shoes on top of her feet (that's the closest she can get to putting them on... today anyway). Then, of course, there's the using the spoon thing. It just amazes me the things that she just picks up, and it's so funny when she does them so unexpectedly! I love it!

Better to be playing with the changing pad than crawling in the dishwasher! ;)

Clapping and saying "yay" is my favorite!
