My First Mother's Day

Keith did good for my first Mother's Day!
Most of the day we just hung out together, then in the afternoon Annabelle and I went shopping while Keith went out to buy the ingredients for a special Mother's Day dinner. When I came home from shopping, Keith had cleaned up the house and started preparing dinner. I put Annabelle to sleep, and talked with Keith while he worked on dinner. It was a nice relaxing time. A couple of hours later, we had a WONDERFUL dinner of a salad with strawberries (I never would've imagined that I'd like that, but it was SOOO yummy!), the greenbeans recipe that he made on the night we got engaged, and lasagna made from scratch! It was all VERY good! We also had a bottle of red wine, but since I'm breastfeeding I only had about half of a glass so Keith had my share and got a little extra happy. :)

After dinner, I opened my first Mother's Day gifts: a precious tie-dyed outfit for Belle (shown above), a cute "If you think I'm Pretty You Should See My Mom" onesie, a set of "I HEART MOM" & "I HEART DAD" PJs, a bath set in my favorite scent, a Napoleon Dynamite button, and a bag cooler. The cards that Keith and Annabelle picked out were perfect too. The one from both of them had daddy and daughter floating over a barn. :)

In addition to the presents from my family, I got quite a few cards from my special friends and family! Thank you to everyone who helped to make My First Mother's Day extra special!
